I am here to look after and pamper your pets when you can't. Home from home boarding or sitting? Dogs want a walk or two when you're at work? Maybe you just fancy a weekend away?
I offer basic training, a huge amount of daily walks, and playing and chasing with my regular Labs. You can rely on me be it for a few days or few weeks. I also provide daily care to drop off with me for the day or pick up from you if local. For dogs boarding here, just bring food and bedding. Long Stays? No problem at all!
So whether your dogs fancy exploring Dulwich Woods, Crystal Palace Park, Beckenham Woods, Mayow, Cator and South Norwood country parks, or a canal side ramble for a swim, you can be certain that they will return fit, healthy, and happy from their holiday!
All guests should first visit Highclere before the booking and approve the facilities as this is a bespoke service and we must all agree to holiday together!
No animals staying for the day or night are ever left alone. (I am at home all day)
I don't take puppies and small dog breeds, or those who are bedwetters, barkers or bonkers!

My 5yr old lab Bonnie adores Rupert and loves coming to him for her "holidays". He truly connects with her and she always returns home happy and exhausted. No more guilt about going on holiday as I know she will also be receiving a 5 star service! I feel very lucky to have found Rupert's Rambles. I couldn't ask for better care for my young lab Gwen who I was loathed to leave with anyone. When we arrive for drop off she circles with excitement outside the gate and drags me in. Often when I pick up she's in mid play with another friendly dog or on the sofa watching television with Rupert. Rupert is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about dogs and gives them loads of exercise throughout the day. I couldn't be happier.
Rupert has looked after our dog Arthur over night on a few occasions and Arthur has always had a great time. Arthur has lots of energy and Rupert has always been very calm and patient with him. Its lovely that Rupert always tries to get some other four legged friends over for Arthur to play with as he knows how much he loves other dogs. Arthur is always well looked after and happily worn out when we pick him up. We would very much recommend Rupert's services.
