Reviews

Catered for our wedding. All staff were very helpful and kept my glass topped up. They were quick and helpful with last min changes and all very professional. They had a wide range of food to sample and can cook pretty much any menue you desire. We even got a wedding card and present from the team which was very touching. A pleasure to hire their service.

What a day, we had - all so perfect and during a week of rain, London decided to treat the most important day of our lives with one of its best sunshines :)
But let’s not forget how much planning and a long run up to the big day was involved, which was May 01st 2018.

We got married in Chiswick House Gardens which has an offering of accredited suppliers to work with. At first we thought this may restrict us a lot, however it actually made decisions easier and narrowed choices down.
Moving Venue was one of the caterers which seemed to offer great western cuisine with an eye for detail and as we’d like to say ‘with this special twist’ you would like to have on your wedding day.
The planning process was very easy, straight forward, and we had Jodie Martin who looked after us and any questions we may have had.
Once numbers were set, we chose reception canapés alongside a great non-alcoholic cocktail, called the Thai refresher, what a treat, Afternoon Tea, which was complimented a thousand times, two course sharing platters for our wedding breakfast followed by a huge cheese display which was calculated for 50 people but was more than enough for 70 as we also had a small wedding cake.
We had the Menu tasting at their actual Warehouse Kitchen, which was open plan and we were able to see the chef and his crew in action. Any requests were taken on board and put into action for our wedding day. On the actual day food was one of the highlights and our guests were so happy alongside ourselves. We supplied alcoholic drinks ourselves, which we sourced from Majestic wines, again, Moving Venue was more than happy to help and not only manage the beverages, with a small corkage fee, but also help us with numbers required and storage of any left over afterwards.

All in all planning went very well and changes were well received whenever requested. Moving Venue is definitely one of the more upmarket caterers out there, however it was definitely worth the money spent, as on the day, we had a good number of waiter/guest ratio, Jodie on side herself, an amazing chef crew who went along with any timings which were delayed from our side, due to speeches or the occasional running behind as the sun drove people out :)
We would like to thank Jodie in particular, who has moved on from Moving Venue, but has made our day so special with lots of passion, direction for her staff working on the day and her constant availability whenever we had questions or requests.

Go for it and you wont be disappointed!
