Established in 2003, BEARSPACE is a pioneering art space in London exhibiting award-winning emerging artists who push the boundaries of contemporary art practice. Artists are selected for their response to contemporary culture and philosophy.
BEARSPACE prides itself on discovering exceptional artists early on in their careers, our artists have gone on to show regularly at the prestigeous Royal Academy of Arts, Saatchi Gallery and feature in many important collections in the UK and internationally.
BEARSPACE was interviewed by the Guardian giving tips to new collectors and was also named in the top 10 of London's Coolest Galleries by Refinery 29, definitely something to shout about!

Bearspace is friendly art gallery which often gives the best emerging artists straight out of London's art schools their first break. Definitely worth a visit and one of the staples of a visit to Deptford's blossoming art scene.

Every year I am invited to an exhibition at the London Art Fair or the Affordable art fair by Bearspace. I always attend with the mindset of a spectator, however every year I end of falling in love with a piece they are exhibiting and end up purchasing. The staff are friendly, informative and helpful. Although I am no art expert, some of the artist whose work I have purchased have gone on to exhibit in some of London's top galleries. Very happy client who is eager to see their next exhibition.
